I went into this book having no idea what to expect. I wanted to just try reading a book without taking a peak at the blurb or other readers' reviews. This book happened to blow me away. It was so well written and the characters developed so much that I have to recommend this to everyone.
Leah is looking for an escape after her ex-boyfriend basically throws her reputation in the trash, so she grabs her stuff and heads north of Florida to South Carolina. And this is where she meets Drew. *sigh* I could not get enough of Drew. He's so driven, funny, and cute. He's exactly what Leah needs when her life is one big storm. Drew pushes her so much and I love the bond they form. I love his outlook on life. And I like that he's a risk taker. He really helps Leah see that what happened to her will not be the end of her. Overall, I have to give this book 4 stars out of 5 stars. It was impressive how well the author connected with the characters and how the author got the audience to bond with the characters.
