Book Review: Simple Perfection by Abbi Glines

Simple Perfection (Perfection, #2; Rosemary Beach, #5)Simple Perfection by Abbi Glines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

❤ Woods & Della ❤

I never thought I'd find a book couple I like as much as Rush and Blaire, yet Abbi Glines made my wishes come true... AGAIN!

This book was so not what I was expecting at all. We've got Woods and Della starting up right where they left off in Twisted Perfection. Della has her issues and Woods is there for her. A lot of little shockers happened in the book. The twists and turns were something I wasn't expecting from Abbi Glines. Normally, her books are a bit predictable if its the 4th and up book in the series, but holy moly did things get crazy! I love how Woods and Della work together to become one. They understand each other like no one else can.

I love Della. She's a fighter, but she lacks self confidence. I think everyone has a bit of Della inside themselves. But we all persevere and break through just like Della.

Woods. Hot. Yummy. Amazing. There are so many ways to describe this beautiful man. But I think the best way is to state it plainly: Della's Other Half.

They work together. They struggle together. But they belong together.

Okay for those of you who read the book: (view spoiler)

I'm really happy I read this book. Another great love story from Abbi. If you've read the Too Far Series then this is one that you will definitely want to check out!

Book Review: Breaking Nova (Nova #1) by Jessica Sorensen

Breaking Nova (Nova, #1)Breaking Nova by Jessica Sorensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I never write reviews for books, but this book was a bit life changing. Going into it I never thought that drugs would have such a huge role in the overall novel. I mean that was absolutely crazy.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOVA
Sweet, kind Nova. She goes through terrible loss in her life. How she is still standing is quite crazy because she's lost so much emotionally that most people wouldn't be able to live life every day.
QUINTON
Beautiful, conflicted Quinton. He made a mistake. He lost those closest to him. So now he punishes himself because he can't see how wonderful he is. He believes he deserves to dead, when he should fight for the life he still has.
When these two meet, worlds will collide, drugs will be prevalent, and their lives will follow a path they both never thought possible.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm giving it 4 STARS because of how amazing Jessica Sorensen can write about death, drugs, and forgiveness all in one book. Tears were shed but Nova's struggle couldn't be experienced without them.

But there are some things about the book that just hurt me.
Number 1, there seemed to be a lot more grammatical and spelling errors.
Number 2, as much as I loved Quinton and his struggles, he is such a different character than all of Jessica Sorensen's other novels that I was a bit disappointed. (view spoiler)
Number 3, there were times where Nova really aggravated me. She thinks all about how she needs to help Quinton, but every time she is given the chance, she doesn't do anything about. (view spoiler)

I thought this was a stand alone for some odd reason but I'm now craving the next book.
