So before I was given a copy of this book, I read the sample and I was blown away and SUPER excited to get the full book, but then I finished reading it and I was left feeling a bit disappointed.
Bethany Green gets the chance of a lifetime when she's the lucky winner of the Indigo Lounge vacation. The IG is a spectacular "cruise-in-the-air" run by Zachary Savage where you and others who have paid tons of money get free food, booze, massages, parties, food, concerts, booze, company, oh and did I mention the free food booze? So Bethany meets Zach because he sees her from beyond and knows instantly that he wants her. And when she catches sight of MR. Boss Man, Bethany just cannot refuse him. But all good things must come to an end when Bethany finds out some disturbing parts of Zach's past. BEWARE: there is a major CLIFFY at the end.
This book was a let down for me because the whole synopsis and sample we get this sneak preview of this multi-million dollar adventure known as the Indigo Lounge... but then our heroine doesn't even make it passed the first night because our hero wants a piece of her. So we get a basically summed up 2 pages about everything on the Indigo Lounge. Then they both leave and go to a different city. I was definitely a bit upset after that. I felt like the book was going in one direction and then it took a 180 twist that I felt was rushed and didn't flow.
Overall, I didn't like the direction of the book. That's my only reasoning for giving this book 3 STARS out of 5 STARS. I think the writing is very good. I like Zara Cox's characters. I think there is a lot to come with the next book
